Event Description
Come and join us at the Iowa State Fair! The biggest crowd you will get to shoot in front of in the state of Iowa!!!!
3 Stage main match- with an eliminator stage, as well as rifle and shotgun stages for prizes. Long gun stages will be one stage of each for CMSA points. Prizes will be combined times of Rifle AND Shotgun. Must shoot both shotgun & rifle to qualify
Move in date for the event is on Thursday, August 13th, between 7-9 p.m. This is a very strict timeline. You WILL NOT be admitted into the fairgrounds before or after our unloading time. The match starts on Friday, August 14th, at 8:30 a.m. Shooters meeting will be at 8:15 a.m.
Camping will be similar to last year. We will be in the livestock trailer parking. Camping will be $20 and with that you will receive a parking pass for the Rock Island parking lot south of the fairgrounds for Thursday and Friday.
Stalls are $30 for the event and will include 2 bags of shavings - NO non competition horses allowed. Stall are very limited
$85 main match - 3 stages. This includes 2 state fair tickets for each competitor.
Top 10 Ladies and Top 10 Men will come back for the Eliminator. Prizes will be awarded to the top Cowboy & Cowgirl.
$35 wrangler entry. This includes 2 state fair tickets for each competitor. - PLEASE NO LEAD LINE WRANGLER as we are very limited on time at this event
$17 Shotgun
$18 Rifle
1 stage each for CMSA points
Full Payment will be due to the club post marked no later than July 15th.
