Join us for the first ever shoot held at C5 arena in Decorah! This beautiful facility will hopefully be a location of shoots for years to come. This will be held in their sizable outdoor arena. Plan on joining us for three days of fun. We will start Friday with our Pistols, Barrels, and Mavericks jackpot starting at 1pm. Entry fee is $150 and limited to 40 riders- 20 men and 20 women. A waitlist will be kept if entries exceed the allowed amount. This jackpot will be combined times of one stage shooting, one barrel pattern, and 1-1 cattle sort. All three events must be performed on the same horse. $150 to enter, a deposit of $50 must be paid by May 8 to Anna Bonner 21595 Cardinal Ave. Clear Lake, IA 50428 or Venmo @Anna-Bonner-10. No refund of deposit if cancelled after June 3rd. We will be paying out the top five places in each gender plus buckles to the overall cowboy and cowgirl. Saturday and Sunday will be a buckle series. Must compete in all main matches on Saturday and Sunday to qualify. Overall Buckles Awarded to: Limited Cowgirl and Cowboy Express Cowgirl and Cowboy Open Cowgirl and Cowboy Long gun payouts and Wrangler prizes. Saturday, June 13: Office closes 9am. 9:45am shooters meeting. Wrangler ground shooting to follow. 10am start with three stages of pistol followed by two stages of shotgun. Awards to follow. Join us Saturday evening for a potluck and live music by Beau Bonner. Please bring something to share and your dancing boots! Sunday, June 14 Office closes at 8am. 9am start with two stages of pistol (option to bump up to three stages depending on entry #s) followed by two stages of rifle. Awards to follow. Primitive camping $40 for the weekend. No electric sites available. Indoor stalls $70 for the weekend includes one bag of shavings. Porta pens by your trailer allowed at no cost.
