Spooktacular Shoot II

Spooktacular Shootout I & II are two CMSA DWPQ shoots on the weekend of October 25th and 26th, 2025 hosted by the Wild Rice Peacemakers at the Winter Shows Arena (formerly Red River Valley Shows) in Crookston, MN. Schedule (all times are approximate): Registration Friday night 7:00pm-9:00pmâ€"place TBA. SUNDAY â€" Spooktacular Shootout II: Costume Contest! Judging will be in the main arena before first shot. Prizes for best Adult and best Wrangler costume. *All costumes must be approved by the Match Directors prior to start. Standard CMSA dress requirements apply to anyone not in costume. 7:30am-8:00am â€" Check-in and Registration 8:30am â€" Mandatory Safety Meeting including Wranglers followed by Wrangler Ground Shooting, Presentation of the Colors and National Anthems 9:00am â€" 4 Stage Main Match Shoot Awards and Checks approximately 1 hours after last shot Ammo: Whitehouse & Curly’s Camping: Primitive camping at the arena; toilets on site - *NO ELECTRIC Metal Stalls: $35.00 for the weekend â€" Move In 10/23/2026 and Move Out 10/25/2026. Stalls will be assigned and must be filled before porta pens will be allowed. Wood shavings are $9/bag. Stalls must be cleaned prior to leaving. We will have larger indoor pens available for families with several horses for $15/horse.
